In the next session of The Diary of a Scientist, we’ll hear from Tatiana Ignashkova, Business Development Manager at Vetter Pharma.
Tatiana Ignashkova oversees business development at Vetter Pharma International, a family owned CDMO for drug product manufacturing based in Germany. She is a subject matter expert for ophthalmic business at Vetter.
Tatiana holds a diploma in biochemistry from Moscow State Veterinary Academy and finishes her PhD study in the field of molecular biology and vascular research at the Russian Academy of Medical Science in Moscow. She then moves on to work within academical and industrial institutions in the USA and Germany, studying metabolism and signaling of cancer cells, publishing numerous articles including in journals such as Nature Communication, JMBC, and Traffic, working for almost 10 years on cancer drug discovery up until 2017, when she leaves the bench work and starts her journey in the international business arena. From this point on, Tatiana builds expertise in market management, business development, and strategy consulting within the pharmaceutical sector.
Tatiana is a scientist and an entrepreneur in one, driven by life science and technologies, advocating for women in STEM, a loving wife, and a proud mother of two.
