Team NHC

Female-Controlled Non-Hormonal Contraception

Team NHC will focus its research on sperm motility as novel approach to control contraception by women themselves without interfering with the female hormone status. In particular, the team, led by Dr. Khulan Sergelen, will target the functionality of CatSper (cation channel of sperm) in an innovative way, by locking the canopy of CatSper.

The research of this team is kindly supported by the Gates Foundation.
